Some weddings feel like poetry—fluid, emotional, and full of quiet symbolism. The celebration of D&J, held on June 20th, 2025, at the romantic Castello di Galbino in Anghiari, was one of those rare days. More than a union between two people, it was the meeting point of three worlds: her Turkish heritage, his Californian roots, and the timeless magic of Tuscany.
What unfolded was not just a wedding, but a delicate balance of traditions, aesthetics, and stories from across the globe.

A place where it all came together
Their journey began in 2024, the moment they discovered Castello di Galbino, nestled in the peaceful Tuscan countryside. Something about the stone walls, the frescoed rooms and the views over the rolling hills felt right—like the place had been waiting for them all along.
They dreamed of a wedding that wasn’t tied to trends, but to their roots. A day that could celebrate the elegance of Italy, while embracing the textures, symbols, and emotions of their family cultures. It was a vision both bold and delicate—and one we were honored to bring to life

A gentle fusion of rituals and atmospheres
To honour the bride’s Turkish background, we set out to create a space that felt like home, thousands of miles away from where her story began. We designed a dedicated Middle Eastern-inspired lounge area, furnished with authentic Persian rugs, low wooden tables, embroidered cushions, and antique brass accessories. It became a soulful corner—beautiful, warm, and deeply symbolic.
Music, too, was chosen with care. A live Arabic ensemble accompanied key moments of the celebration, adding rhythm and atmosphere to the evening air. Their melodies brought a layer of nostalgia and joy that connected generations, languages, and memories.
The ceremony itself included subtle yet meaningful rituals drawn from both cultural backgrounds—gestures that didn’t require translation, only emotion. They reminded everyone present that love, in its purest form, speaks many languages.

A celebration of style and symbolism
As guests entered the reception garden, the visual narrative continued—this time, through a tablescape that seamlessly blended elegance with cultural nuance. The mise en place featured subtle oriental-inspired details: refined golden-hued charger plates and diamond-cut goblets that echoed the warmth of Middle Eastern traditions. The stationery, designed in shades of burnished gold and sun-warmed earth tones, added depth and character, tying every element together.
Slender candelabra cast a soft, golden light, enveloping the space in a welcoming and intimate glow. The floral arrangements, echoing those of the ceremony, featured white and green tones, chosen to honor the natural beauty of the Tuscan landscape. This balance between exotic refinement and local authenticity created an atmosphere that felt both curated and effortless—a table that didn’t just host a meal, but invited guests into a story of harmony, tradition, and heartfelt beauty.

Conclusion
Some weddings speak to the eyes—others speak to the soul. D&J’s was a celebration that did both. A day woven with meaning, it reflected who they are, where they come from, and what they chose to become together.
At Castello di Galbino, under the golden skies of June, an Arabic/Turkish bride and a Californian groom met in the heart of Tuscany—not just to marry, but to honour three cultures in one loving, unforgettable moment. And in doing so, they reminded us that the most meaningful weddings are not about perfection, but about presence, poetry, and deep-rooted truth.
It’s in these rare harmonies—between people, places, and traditions—that Romantica Italia finds its truest expression. Our role is not to replicate beauty, but to create something entirely personal, where every wedding becomes a reflection of the couple’s story: authentic, heartfelt, and deeply meaningful.
